This morning we got the dresser put together for the den, which means tomorrow it’ll finally get moved into place. It feels like we’re slowly but surely piecing this house together. Oh—and tomorrow morning Aaron’s is delivering our new TV, which I’m very ready for. We went in today and got all that sorted out, so that’s one less thing on the to-do list.
The rest of the day was… honestly kind of boring. I didn’t really know what to do with myself, but since I had the night off, I ended up giving myself a new tattoo on my thigh. It’s a little bunch of mushrooms with some vines, and I’m actually really happy with how it turned out. I’ll need to do a touch-up in a couple of weeks, but for now, it looks pretty solid.
I also hopped on my computer for a while. I worked on Notion (still learning as I go—some parts are kind of frustrating, but I’ll get there), and then spent some time on my website. I’ve finally streamlined my blog process—writing with ChatGPT, uploading to my site, and using AI to generate images for each post. Game-changer. It makes everything feel so much smoother, and I don’t get stuck staring at blank spaces anymore.
So yeah, that was the vibe today. A little furniture progress, a self-tattoo session, some digital organizing, and a lot of figuring things out as I go.
