Today was one of those I feel like a boss kind of days. Last night at work, I went full productivity mode and got so much done on the website. I posted a blog, started a printable, and even tossed a pin up on Pinterest. Honestly, who even am I? It felt really good to see progress stacking up like that.
Of course, I decided to stay over for a first shift today too. Which… yeah, it always wrecks my sleep schedule, but here we are. Hubby had some errands (and blood work—fun times), and then we rewarded ourselves with Subway before heading home to crash
When we woke up—boom—payday had hit. My absolute favorite part. Most people like payday for the spending, but me? I’m here for the budgeting. Straight away I jumped into paying bills, sorting through the numbers, and checking what we still need for this pay period. Honestly, we’re pretty stocked up on stuff, so aside from pet food, I didn’t feel the urge to order much yet

Once the budgeting dust settled, I hopped back onto Canva to keep working on the website and my new Budget by Paycheck printable. And get this—I finished the workbook! I’m going to start tagging it at the bottom of all my blog posts this week so it can do its little traffic-driving magic.

Meanwhile, I decided to skip doing my hair and face before work tonight. Just wasn’t feeling it. (I’ll get cute later if we end up going out after work.) Oh, and I was this close to buying a Cricut tomorrow, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized I probably wouldn’t use it enough to justify the price. I had one before and replaced it with a Silhouette when I was deep in my sticker-making era. Honestly, I hate weeding those teeny-tiny vinyl spaces—it’s not worth the frustration.
So, no Cricut for now, but hey—I got my printable workbook done, I budgeted, I blogged, and I kept the momentum rolling. That’s a solid win in my book.
