You ever have one of those days that feels like a mix of productivity, procrastination, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting? Yeah… welcome to my September 6th.

Last night’s work shift? Survived it — not exactly “thrived,” but we’re calling that a win. Today was supposed to be all about Notion, because apparently, I’ve decided to turn my phone into a tiny productivity spaceship. Shortcuts, templates, planner layouts — the whole nerdy shebang. I’ve also got this wild idea to start making TikToks about tech hacks (because who doesn’t want to know how to make their life 0.02% easier?) and maybe sprinkle in some lifestyle content too.

Oh, and because one phone line clearly isn’t enough for this circus, we’re thinking of adding a third — just for social media. Because, obviously, nothing says “balanced lifestyle” like juggling three phones.

But wait, there’s more. This morning, we had a very “married people problem” moment: had to DoorDash a rose from Target because Jay’s personal toy gave up on life. (Don’t ask. Just… don’t.) While we waited for our emergency floral rescue, we ate bread. Just bread. Living the dream, I know.

Sleep? Meh. I drifted in and out. Hubby got ready for work solo (I hate when that happens — zero time together today, boo). Dropped him off, came home, and went straight into digital hustle mode:

  • Tinkered with my About Me page (shoutout to ChatGPT for being my unpaid intern).
  • Built a little logo action.
  • Organized it all into my fancy new “Base Beauty Blueprint” folder — because if it’s in a Google Doc, it’s basically official, right?

Tonight at work, the plan is to keep this learning train going: maybe dive into WordPress, maybe Skillshare, maybe both if the coffee hits just right. I’m also low-key scheming a 2026 digital planner drop (yes, 2026 — because I like to dream big and early). Target launch: November 24th, 2025. Black Friday/Cyber Monday magic, here we come.

And because apparently I don’t have enough side quests, we might also open an Etsy shop under Jay’s name as a temporary storefront while the website comes to life. Separate email, separate Cash App, same chaos.

So yeah, that was my day: bread, roses, Notion dreams, and a to-do list the size of my browser history.
